Dorian is excited to be making his SBTS debut this summer with the 2016 cast.  Acting here in Halifax, he has been seen in The Duchess of Malfi (The Villain’s Theatre), Arsenic and Old Lace, and The Underpants (Lions Den Theatre).  He last took the stage to do Shakespeare as an island spirit in the 2002 production of The Tempest at Edmonton’s Shakespeare in the Park.  Since graduating from Dalhousie's Theatre Studies program in 2010, Dorian has directed various shows in Halifax including Hedda Gabler with Head First Productions, the award-winning productions of Spirits and The Story of a Sinking Man (2015 Atlantic Fringe), So ho, by so, In the Telling (2014 Atlantic Fringe), and Tecumseh as a Doorstop (Ajar Theatre). This fall he returns to Edmonton to continue his studies at the University of Alberta, undertaking their master’s program in directing. He’s looking forward to returning to Halifax after his studies, and is thrilled to be acting at SBTS as a send-off before departing.
