Melissa is thrilled to be making her debut with SBTS. This spring Melissa graduated from Dalhousie University's Acting Program. In her career at Dal she had the opportunity to play a variety of characters including Brighella in The Green Bird, Maurya in Riders To The Sea, Miss Mary Willoughby in  Quality Street,  Master, Mother and Keeper in She Herself Is A Haunted House and Sue in Lion In The Streets. This past fall Melissa received the Richardson Family Performing Arts Scholarship for her artistic excellence. In her hometown of Burlington Ontario she was the recipient of the Theatre Ontario Award. Melissa is an improvisor in the city and has been a house ensemble member of both Uncles Improv and Make em Ups Improv Co. In her free time Melissa volunteers as a Trainer and Referee with the Canadian Improv Games at the Nova Scotia, Toronto and National tournaments. She sends love to her friends and family.
