Shakespeare by the Sea’s 2025 Summer Camp invites young performers to step into the world of the Bard for a week of creativity, adventure, and fun! Campers will spend their days rehearsing scenes from Shakespeare’s plays, exploring the beauty of Point Pleasant Park, and playing engaging theatre games that build confidence and teamwork. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, participants will develop acting skills, learn the art of Shakespearean storytelling, and bring timeless characters to life. The week culminates in a special performance where campers share their work with family and friends, showcasing their newfound skills in a joyful celebration of theatre. Whether your child is a seasoned performer or brand new to the stage, SBTS Summer Camp is the perfect place to discover the magic of Shakespeare in a fun, supportive, and inspiring environment!

SBTSHalifax performances takes place in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq people. The territory is covered by the Treaty of Peace and Friendship, which Mi'kmaq and Maliseet People first signed with the British crown in 1726.

We are forever grateful to be able to live and create art in this place, and we hope that our work joins the tradition of storytelling that has existed here long before us, documented and undocumented, acknowledging those whose names we know, and appreciating those whose names we may never know.
