Unrehearsed RandJ Banner.jpg

By: William Shakespeare

Following the rainy, yet utterly unforgettable success of The Unrehearsed Macbeth—SBTS’ biggest audience in over 20 years—Shakespeare by the Sea is closing out our 32nd summer season with what’s sure to be the theatrical event of the year: UNREHEARSED ROMEO AND JULIET.

Shakespeare’s most iconic love story will explode onto the stage in a way you’ve never seen before—and never will again. For this one-night-only spectacular, SBTS’ brave and bold cast will learn their lines, craft their own costumes, and embrace the unpredictable magic of live, unrehearsed theatre. Will it be chaos? Absolutely. Will it be hilarious, heartfelt, and totally unforgettable? You better believe it.

Trust us—you do not want to miss this one. It’s bold. It’s bonkers. You have to see it to believe it.

NOTE:

Sweet Seats for this event are only available by purchasing a Season Pass until June 1st, 2024

After June 1st, single Sweet Seats will be available to the general public.

Sweet Seats will sell out for this performance, but as always, there will still be a Pay-What-You-Can option available at the gate on the day of the show!

SBTSHalifax performances takes place in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq people. The territory is covered by the Treaty of Peace and Friendship, which Mi'kmaq and Maliseet People first signed with the British crown in 1726.

We are forever grateful to be able to live and create art in this place, and we hope that our work joins the tradition of storytelling that has existed here long before us, documented and undocumented, acknowledging those whose names we know, and appreciating those whose names we may never know.
